Southern New Castle County is one of the most rapidly growing areas in Delaware. Traffic flows continue to increase while road improvements are slow in coming to accommodate the additional traffic.

Route 301 Alternative Route Selection & Environmental Impact Study --- The Route 301 Major Investment Study (MIS) describes the alternatives being considered to improve traffic flows along the Rte. 301 Corridor. (Link to DelDOT Rt. 301 EIS Homepage)

Southern New Castle County Local Road Plan --- This study conducted an in depth analysis of arterial and collector roads in Southern New Castle County. It also proposed new roads that would offer "interconnectivity" between existing and new development in the region. (Future link to SNCCO Local Road Plan

Townsend SR1 Ramps --- This is a problematic project that will likely expedit development and sprawling development to the environmentally fragile Blackbird-Millington Conservation Corridor.
